She is currently working on two book-length projects, one on spaces of sexual encounter in post-WWII Berlin, and the other on the regulation of homosexuality in Nazi and Cold War Germany.

She has written articles and book chapters on a range of topics in the history of sexuality, including "The Moral State: Men, Mining, and Masculinity in the Early GDR" German History, Special Issue on the History of Sexuality), vol. 23, no. 3 (August 2005): 355-370 and "Bahnhof Boys: Policing Male Prostitution in Post-Nazi Berlin," Journal of the History of Sexuality, vol. 12.4 (October 2003): 605-636.
