Medical archives and their uses, proceedings of a 2007 conference on the topic, was never published (or if published I was never informed): so the fuller version of my piece on Hosprec that would have been published therein 'From Moore’s Modern Methods to the World Wide Web: the evolution and current position of the Wellcome/National Archives Hospital Records Database' is now made available here as a pdf. It's considerably out of date but, I think, of some historical interest about the evolution of the project and the position of hospital records in the UK.
